The API enables you to scale existing ecoDMS featuresusing the API REST service. This helps companies customize internal work processes and improve efficiency. Code various calls to access ecoDMS features. This allows you to customize the scope of features to suit your specific requirements. The API is not required for the general operation of the document management system.The API enables the seamless integration of ecoDMS with various third-party applications and systems. This, for example, allows users to archive and manage documents from familiar applications without needing to switch between applications.
The API supports various programming languages and has comprehensive online documentation to ensure easy integration and usage.
Each ecoDMS full version license (Private / Business Edition) includes a number of free API connects for testing purposes. To purchase the unlimited API, you need to purchase ecoDMS ONE. ecoDMS ONE is the full package for business customers and comprises our software solution ecoDMS, incl. WORKZ add-on and API, as well as ecoMAILZ. This gives you guaranteed planning security with fixed annual calculable costs.
Licensing Model
The API is based on the full ecoDMS ONE package for business customers.- The ecoDMS license includes 10 monthly API connects per concurrent connection, allowing the free upload or download of 10 files via API per month
- 1 API connect is required per upload / download
- Every month the API connects are automatically reset, giving you the full number of purchased API connects for each month (Example: The ecoDMS license has 10 concurrent connections. This means that there are automatically 100 monthly API connects available)
- For unlimited use of the API you require the full ecoDMS ONE package
- When you purchase ecoDMS ONE, the API feature is enabled in ecoDMS so you can create as many calls and process as many files as you want
API Example Code
We provide free example code for download to help software developers to use and interact with the API. The examples are available in various programming languages (PHP, Java, QT) and typically show how to send HTTP requests to the API, process the response, and access the data returned from the API.
