Scanning and archiving paper documents

You can digitalise your paper documents with any scanner and then either archive them fully automatically in ecoDMS or retrieve and prepare them first via the Inbox tab in ecoDMS.

Prepare digitalised documents for archiving

The inbox is a pre-stage to the actual document archive. Here you can use various functions to prepare the scanned documents.

  • Retrieve scanned documents
  • Classifying documents (classification templates can also automatically assign documents here)
  • Finally archiving documents
  • Editing documents (rotating, cutting, pasting, adding, removing, moving pages...)
  • Exporting documents (export as PDF in the full version only)
  • Splitting pages of a document
  • and much more.
