ecoDMS does not retrieve .pdf and/or .tif files after they were copied to the scaninput folder, where they remain.

If you are working under MacOS on network disks, each Mac user creates “.DS_Store files” by default. These files are used by MacOS to save custom attributes such as icon positions.

To prevent these files from being created:
  1. Open the terminal on your Mac
  2. Execute the command: defaults write DSDontWriteNetworkStores true
  3. Restart your Mac or log off and then log on again.
  4. The “.Ds_Store files” are now created on local disks only.
