Unfortunately, we cannot make a concrete statement about the required storage space. The size of a file may vary immensely and depends on the quality, the page volume and the contents. When using a document management system in a company, we always recommend the greatest possible storage capacity or the provision for extended storage capability, as, for example, with a Raid system.

We employ the platform-independent postgreSQL component as our database. Another advantage of postgreSQL is the virtually limitless data volume. In contrast to most other databases, the database volume of postgreSQL is unlimited.

If required, the ecoDMS database can, of course, be migrated using the backup and restore function. You can read more about the backup and restore options in the ecoDMS manual.
