For an automatic backup, you must set some options in the Windows task scheduler. The following example serves as a guideline for the configuration of an automatic backup. Our example is based on the Windows 8.1 operating system.

"Create Task"

"General" tab:
"Name": Freely selectable
Enable "Run whether user is logged in or not"
Enable "Run with highest privileges"

"Trigger" tab:
Create and enable a schedule

"Action" tab:
"New": Add action
"Action": "Start a Program"
"Program / Script" "C:\Program Files (x86)\ecoDMS GmbH\ecoDMS Server\ecoDMSBackupConsole.exe" (for default installation)
"Add arguments": Enter the destination folder for the backup file, e.g. "D:\ecoDMS_Backup"
