ecoDMS Server is the central software component, which serves as the base of the system. It includes a postgreSQL database, data storage containers and services like ecoDMS API REST service and Webclient.

The ecoDMS PDF/A printer is a virtual printer driver that enables users to convert documents to PDF/A format and archive them straight to ecoDMS.

ecoDMS Client is the actual desktop interface which users use to access ecoDMS Server. In the Client, users can manage their settings and access the server features for archiving, managing, viewing, and browsing documents, and much more.

The ecoMAILZ plugin connects “ecoMAILZ”, the automatic email archive, with ecoDMS, so all emails and content are archived straight to ecoDMS. Managing both emails and other important documents in one place allows comprehensive data management, giving users a full overview of their information and allowing them quick access to the information they need without switching between systems.

The ecoDMS packages installation file includes plugins/add-ons, the ecoDMS PDF/A Printer for Windows and the ecoDMS Client for macOS and Windows.
