The licensing for ecoDMS ONE is based on a model consisting of a one-time acquisition fee and an annual service fee per concurrent connection.
Upon entering into the contract, the license fee is paid as a one-time upfront cost. In addition, an annual service fee is charged, which covers access to the latest software versions and technical support services.
Licensing is not based on the total number of users, but rather on the number of simultaneous (concurrent) connections. This ensures that you only pay for actual, concurrent usage.
A minimum requirement of three concurrent connections applies. For example, if ten employees work with the system but a maximum of three are active at any given time, only three licenses are required.
The concurrent user model defines system access based on simultaneous usage:
- Unlimited Installations: The software can be installed on an unlimited number of devices, and an unrestricted number of user accounts can be created.
- Active Access: The number of purchased connections determines how many users can be actively logged into the system at the exact same time.
- Example: With 3 licenses, 3 employees can work with ecoDMS simultaneously. As soon as one user logs out, the license immediately becomes available to another colleague.
This model provides companies with a transparent, highly predictable way to scale usage without the need to license every single user individually.
