ecoDMS ermöglicht nun die Installation seines Dokumentenmanagement-Systems auf NAS-Speichersystemen von Qnap und Synology. Dies geschieht durch die Nutzung virtueller Container, die eine einfache Integration in bestehende IT-Infrastrukturen ermöglichen.

ecoDMS hat das Stadthotel Jülich bei der Digitalisierung seiner Dokumentenprozesse unterstützt. Das Hotel suchte nach einer kostengünstigen und benutzerfreundlichen Archivierungssoftware, um das tägliche Papieraufkommen zu reduzieren und die Effizienz zu steigern. Nach einer erfolgreichen Testphase entschied sich das Hotel für das Dokumenten-Management-System von ecoDMS.

Digital document management systems (DMS) are becoming increasingly important for companies as a means of replacing paper files, increasing productivity, and ensuring legally compliant archiving.

Smaller companies in particular often still hesitate due to supposedly high costs and a lack of IT knowledge, even though there are now cost-effective and intuitive solutions on the market.

The example of the Stadthotel Jülich shows in a practical way how the introduction of the “ecoDMS” software tames the enormous daily volume of paper and data in the hospitality industry and significantly speeds up document searches.

By scanning mail and assigning it largely automatically in the digital archive, the hotel saves valuable working time, simplifies processes for employees, and reduces the space required for physical filing cabinets.
