LibreOffice and OpenOffice Plugin
ecoDMS has its own plugin for LibreOffice and OpenOffice. This means that you can archive documents straight to ecoDMS from
- Writer
- Calc
- and Impress.
When archiving, ecoDMS saves the documents in PDF/A format and in the original Office format. The original file can be edited and saved as a new version if required.

- Opening a document in ecoDMS, editing, and saving as a new version
- Opening a document from ecoDMS and archiving it as a new file in ecoDMS
- Documents can be classified either automatically based on classification templates or manually by the user
