Who doesn’t know the feeling? The annual tax declaration is around the corner. All relevant documents need to be collected and handed over to the respective tax office. This is usually done through a tax consultant. In many cases this situation reveals a sad reality: Stacks of papers and folders accumulate on the desk. Filing and searching for the right documents takes ages. The “ecoDMS” software magically digitizes documents and prepares a sorted archive with quick document access. This process requires paper documents to be scanned with a standard document scanner and saved directly in ecoDMS. All other documents that are saved on the computer, such as emails, Office documents, photographs, videos, etc. go into ecoDMS. There, all documents are saved in a central archive, the personal computer, and can easily be retrieved.

For a tax declaration, for example, all required documents are immediately accessible. There are multiple search and filter functions in ecoDMS to retrieve all documents required for the tax declaration. They can be collected in a virtual clipboard in ecoDMS and exported for the tax advisor.

The clipboard in ecoDMS enables the collection of all types of archived documents. The files are dragged directly from the ecoDMS table to the clipboard, where they are saved in a sub-clipboard. Collecting the documents does not influence the existing classifications and access permissions and the documents are not moved within the archive. Several sub-clipboards can be created on the clipboard. Anyone who creates a clipboard can decide whether and how other users can access a document collection. Other users can be given read or write access to the respective clipboard.

The clipboard is ideal for collecting all relevant documents for the tax declaration. All incoming and outgoing invoices, contracts, receipts, etc., which need to be transferred to the tax consultant, are collected on the clipboard and subsequently exported or sent directly from ecoDMS via email.
